Two Holiday Inn Express properties join Redefine BDL

Redefine BDL Hotels has taken over the management of two Holiday Inn Express properties, increasing its portfolio of hotels to 65.

The 176-bedroom Holiday Inn Express Southampton M27 Jct 7 and 100-bedroom Holiday Inn Express Redditch, owned by International Hotel Group, joined what is one of the UK's largest hotel management groups on Tuesday.

With a total of 19 Holiday Inn Express properties within the group, the acquisitions strengthen Redefine BDL Hotels' relationship with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). The operator is the largest IHG franchisee operator in Europe.

John Stuart, chief operating officer of Redefine|BDL Hotels, said that both sit in prime locations for business and leisure travellers.

"We will bring our wealth of experience in running 19 Holiday Inn Express hotels across the length and breadth of the country, ensuring all guests have a fantastic experience."

As well as working with IHG, Redefine BDL Hotels also operates hotels under agreements with Hilton Worldwide, Starwood Hotels & resorts, AccorHotels, Marriott International, Best Western and Wyndham. The group has an annual turnover under management of more than £500m.
