Six regional Hilton hotels sold off £40m guide price

Five hotels within a six-strong regional portfolio of Hilton hotels are to be rebranded after being sold by American private equity group Oaktree Capital, off a total asking price of £40m.

The hotels, which have all been sold by individual buyers, are located in Basingstoke (141 bedrooms), Bromsgrove (146 bedrooms), Dunkeld (98 bedrooms), Newbury (109 bedrooms), Newport (148 Bedrooms) and Swindon (171 bedrooms).

With the exception of Swindon, they have all been acquired free of the current Hilton branding and management contracts upon completion of their agreed notice periods.

Property agent Christie & Co advised on the sales, with CMS as legal advisers and Vision as asset manager.
