Bath Pub Company takes on fourth pub

The Bath Pub Company will open its fourth pub in the city next month. The firm has taken on the lease of The Dolphin in Lower Weston, given it a £250,000 refurb and renamed it the Locksbrook Inn.

Director Joe Cussens (pictured) said customers and staff can expect "something a bit different".

"Our pubs each have their own character - a chain approach to things doesn't quite work for us. A good pub should make everyone feel welcome - we're aiming to build a special place that we hope people will feel proud to call their local."

The gastro pub operator is currently looking to recruit a head chef for the new launch to run a kitchen that it believes will generate food sales of £15,000 to £20,000 in food sales per week.

The firm will operate The Locksbrook Inn under a lease issued by Enterprise Inns.
