Kinkead and Roberts raise over £7K for Springboard UK
Stephen Kinkead and Glenn Roberts, managing directors of Winterhalter UK and Gram UK respectively, are back from their trek to Peru for Springboard UK and have raised over £7,000 for the charity.
The pair spent five days trekking across Peru with a group of industry volunteers including a stay in a remote village where they spent time installing solar panels, to bring sustainable energy to a local school. The trek also included a gruelling walk along the trails to the ruins of Machu Pichu.
The two trekkers have said they found it difficult to put into words the effect the trip had had on them, but were "humbled" and "blown away" by the experience.
