Sodexo secures contract extensions at three Scottish venues

Sodexo has extended its partnership with Dundas Castle in West Lothian (pictured), Blair Castle in Perthshire and Discovery Point in Dundee.

The firm has increased its 16-year partnership with Dundas Castle for another three years, in a deal worth £2.4m. It will provide conference and banqueting at the wedding and events venue.

Sodexo has also been working with Blair Castle for more than 20 years and has extended the partnership by another five years with a £2.75m contract. It will continue to provide a day visitor restaurant, as well as conference and banqueting for events.

At Discovery Point, Sodexo has secured a five-year extension worth £1.25m, having catered at the venue since 2010. It will provide a restaurant for visitors to Captain Scott's polar exploration ship RRS Discovery, along with conference and banqueting facilities.

Chris Bray, CEO Sports & Leisure, Sodexo UK & Ireland, said: "We're extremely pleased to build our relationship with three iconic cultural destinations in Scotland. Our partnership with Dundas Castle demonstrates we can provide high-level fine dining and a world-class experience to guests, using locally-sourced products.

"Our partnerships with Blair Castle and Discovery Point show we can reproduce that experience for events while providing for large numbers of visitors during the day."
