Mecco to cater for British Grand Prix 2016 at Silverstone
Event caterer Mecco, part of One Event Management, will provide catering to hospitality areas at this year's British Grand Prix at Silverstone next month.
The sporting event will take place over the weekend of 8-10 July and will see Mecco continue its relationship with Silverstone Circuits, catering for areas including the Drivers' Lounge at Lakeside.
New for this year, Mecco will provide hospitality catering at Silverstone Six, a private area with six suites. The firm will also work with Mercedes Benz to create a new VIP hospitality offering for the automotive company's key stakeholders and guests.
Over the weekend around 6,500 guests will enjoy trackside views with menus focusing on British cuisine using seasonal ingredients being overseen by creative director Dan Mann.
Dishes will include free-range pork loin, mustard, apples and potatoes; kiln roasted Scottish salmon with lemon crème fraiche; Isle of Wight tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella & cabernet sauvignon vinegar dressing; English strawberries with Eton mess cream and Oxford blue cheese with quince & walnuts.

One Event Management is an upscale event caterer, which was established in 1999. It caters at events including the Aegon Championships, Silverstone, Farnborough International Airshow, Lord's Cricket Ground and Woods' Silver Fleet.
