Jason Atherton to bring Social Company dining to Heathrow VIPs

Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton is collaborating with London Heathrow to offer the airport's VIP customers a menu inspired by dishes from his award-winning restaurants, including the Pollen Street Social and Berners Tavern.

Atherton, who owns restaurant group the Social Company, will offer Heathrow's VIP passengers a new menu each month which will focus on British produce.

The June menu, which is inspired by food from Atherton's Berners Tavern, offers a selection of canapés, followed by a Berners Tavern summer salad starter and a roasted stone bass, caramelised cauliflower, fennel and cockle velouté main course. For dessert, passengers can enjoy a French meringue, fresh berry compote and strawberry sorbet.

Atherton said: "Having experienced the Heathrow VIP offering first hand, I've always been impressed with how the service transforms the way you travel and so I was delighted to help make the dining experience a true occasion for passengers.

"With the help of my team and the Heathrow VIP chefs, we've created a range of exciting dishes to suit even the most experienced palate; we hope this will enhance the premium experience when travelling through the VIP suite at Heathrow."
