Brockencote Hall hotel appoints Tim Jenkins as head chef
Eden Hotel Collection's Brockencote Hall hotel in Worcestershire has promoted sous chef Tim Jenkins to head chef of the hotel's three-AA rosette restaurant, the Chaddesley.
Jenkins will take on the role from 1 August, succeeding Adam Brown, who has been promoted to executive chef at the brand's Mallory Court hotel.
Jenkins has been at Brockencote Hall, winner of the AA small hotel group of the year 2015, for nine years. For the last six years, has been honing his culinary skills under Brown, previously of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and Le Champignon Sauvage.
The restaurant will continue to use seasonal ingredients and locally-sourced produce, including freshly-picked wild plants, herbs and fruit from the hotel's kitchen garden and honey from its beehives. It will also make use of produce available from producers in Worcestershire and the surrounding countryside.
Mark Chambers, managing director of the Eden Hotel Collection, said: "Home-grown chefs are a speciality of the Eden Hotel Collection. We are delighted to celebrate the promotion of Tim Jenkins, whose natural talent has been nurtured well by Adam Brown over the past few years."
