Sodexo's Bateaux London to host ACE summer party

Sodexo's Bateaux London venue is to host the Association of Catering Excellence (ACE) summer party on 21 July, where the inaugural ACE Robyn Awards will be presented.

The awards, which aim to showcase young talent in the world of contract catering, are named after Robyn Jones OBE, founder of CH&Co, who died in September 2015.

They recognise those under the age of 35 who have demonstrated what it takes to make a difference in the industry, whether it be cooking, serving or driving a business forward.

Chris Bray, CEO sports & leisure, Sodexo UK & Ireland, and ACE patron, said: "Young people are the lifeblood of our industry and we are proud to host some of the most talented among them at the ACE summer event at Bateaux London."

The ACE Robyns were created by the ACE committee in memory of Jones, who was known for her tireless work in the mentoring, training and development of young talent.

The winner will receive dinner and an overnight stay at the Shard, as well as Champagne and lifetime membership of ACE and be the first to join the ACE Robyns hall of fame.

Tickets are £60 for members and £75 for non-members.
