Meatcure to open Hinckley site
Independently owned burger chain Meatcure has announced its fifth site in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
The restaurant will be located in one of the last available units in the Crescent development and is expected to open this October.
Meatcure which specialises in fresh, handcrafted burgers launched in Market Harborough in 2014, and has since expanded across the Midlands to Leicester, Leamington Spa and Bedford.
Rob Martyniak, co-founder of Meatcure, said: "We had been keen to establish a presence in the Hinckley area for a while but didn't manage to find a location which was the right fit at the time. This all changed when we heard news of the new Hinckley Crescent development, the team were clearly passionate and showed enthusiasm for a new Meatcure to open on-site.
"Our ambition was always to build restaurants we want to hang out in and make food we want to eat - and with the Hinckley Crescent's high visitor numbers, we are confident we will be well equipped to provide another Midlands town with fantastic tasting, quality burgers made of locally sourced ingredients."
Meatcure describes itself as a ‘fiercely independent restaurant group' offering craft beers, wines and cocktails alongside handmade gourmet burgers to market towns across the Midlands.
The group recently set up a crowdfunding campaign to raise £350,000 to open five new restaurants. As on 14 June it had raised almost £90,000. The campaign is due to end mid-August.
