Albany hotel in Tenby on the market
The Grade II-listed Albany hotel in Tenby, Pembrokeshire is on the market for £750,000 for the freehold of the property.
The 24-bedroom hotel, owned by Lisa and Richard Slate, occupies a prominent spot on the main road, and dates from the 17th century but the majority of the building is Georgian. New owners will have the option of living in three-bedroom accommodation that goes with the hotel.
The site has been brought to market by Colliers International. Colliers hotels director Peter Brunt said the "compact" hotel offered the ideal opportunity for hospitality sector newcomers as well as experienced operators.
He said: "Our clients bought the hotel in 2007. Almost 10 years on the hotel has done its job as a comfortable home and profitable business, and with the older generation looking to their next stage in life the family have decided to offer the business for sale.
