Hyde restaurants launch in Locke by SACO

New serviced apartment brand Locke by SACO has announced a partnership with Hyde Restaurants.

The restaurant group will open in each of the planned aparthotels, starting with the 168-apartment Leman Locke on London's Leman Street in Aldgate which will open on 24 October.

The Scandinavian-inspired restaurant will serve food from breakfast through to late night cocktails from a bar and terrace on the ground floor and a first floor restaurant and bar.

Dishes include: Burford Brown folded eggs with truffle and field mushrooms; homemade hung yogurt, Paleo granola and tree-ripened mango; a range of tartares and ceviches; flat-breads with fresh toppings; black cod with kale and brown rice; and Hereford paprikash with red cabbage and buttered noodles.

The terrace will have an American smoker and Argentinian grill offering menu items such as slow-cooked brisket; smoked lobster rolls; and buttermilk wood-roasted chicken.

Next year, the restaurant will introduce supper clubs and masterclasses, alongside collaborations with up and coming chefs including Billy Wright and Jack Layer, finalists of the 2016 MasterChef series.

Ben Harper, commercial director for SACO the Serviced Apartment Company said: "Our partnership with Treves & Hyde is one example of how Leman Locke by SACO continues to innovate in the serviced apartment sector - by blending the best hotel experience with the freedom and space of serviced apartment living. We are working with new and existing clients to target a new type of "modern traveller" who seeks a more authentic, local experience whether in town for a night or a few weeks."

The Locke brand combines the comfort and flexibility of service apartments with the design of a boutique hotel.

SACO, founded in 1997, is one of the UKs leading service led apartment companies. It operates 900 apartments in the UK, and 80,000 in 52 countries around the world.
