The Caterer launches largest ever hospitality careers guide

The Caterer has launched its biggest ever careers guide, packed full of information for those aspiring to secure hospitality roles.

Check into Hospitality 2017 has been designed to promote the positive prospects available in the hospitality industry to jobseekers and direct those interested in a career in hotels, pubs, restaurants and casual dining towards leading employers.

Through a sector-by-sector exploration of the opportunities available along with practical advice on everything from interview technique to social media etiquette, the guide is aimed at those looking to make the first step into the sector as well as existing employees seeking to further their careers.

With an engaging design and lively tone, and including comment from students, apprentices and young managers, the accessible guide illustrates how it's possible to forge a rewarding and exciting career in hospitality.

It also features a showcase of employers along with direct contact information for those keen on pursuing a career at a particular business.

Check into Hospitality editor James Stagg said: "There are a multitude of opportunities in hospitality which aren't always apparent to school leavers. We've aimed to address this and make plain the breadth of opportunities on offer and emphasise the progression available to those looking to forge a rewarding career.

"We are looking to inspire the next generation of hospitality professional, and link them with a selection of leading employers."
