The Botanist to open in York
The New World Trading Company has announced the launch of the Botanist pub and restaurant in Stonegate, York set to open this month.
The site, which will be the company's 11th in the UK, spans across a total of 5,000 sq ft.
The menu will offer deli-inspired boards, and a rotisserie and BBQ-based menu. Drinks include botanical cocktails, beers, ales and selection of local gins.
Ciara Appleton Mcdaid has been appointed as general manager, with over 10 years' experience in the industry, Mcdaid joins from the Botanist in Newcastle.
Chris Hill, chief executive officer at the New World Trading Company said: "We're incredibly excited to bring The Botanist concept to York, as we feel the character and atmosphere of the city fits perfectly with the brand.
It's great to be able to bring so many jobs to the city and we're delighted to already have Ciara on board as we begin the recruitment process."
The new venue follows the announcement of an opening in Sheffield and will join existing Botanist pubs in Manchester, Chester, Alderley Edge, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Marlow, Farnham, and Knutsford.
