Tony Conigliaro to open new London bar
Internationally renowned barman and mixologist Tony Conigliaro, who runs London cocktail bars 69 Colebrooke Row and Bar Termini, as well as the Drink Factory, is to launch his third bar concept in the capital.
Called Untitled, the new venture will open at 538 Kingsland Road, Hackney next month.
Inspired by the ideology behind Andy Warhol's iconic Silver Factory, head of research and partner in the new bar will be Zoe Burgess.
Larger than Conigliaro's existing bars, Untitled promises to be a "refined yet relaxed" space where the people take centre stage and the action is focussed around a large communal table seating up to 20 people.
The menu will be made up of 12 Untitled originals, each incorporating sight, smell and taste. Drink names will include Snow, Rice and Violin.
Drinks will be served in their own specially designed vessel.
Conigliaro opened 69 Colebrooke Row bar is Islington - once simply known as 'The Bar With No Name' in 2009. Bar Termini in Soho followed in 2015. He also runs the Drink Factory consultancy in London Fields. He is drinks consultant to the Zetter Townhouses in Clerkenwell and Marylebone, Bruno Loubet's Grain Store restaurant on Granary Square, King's Cross, and he also curated the drinks list at Heston Blumenthal's Dinner restaurant in Melbourne, Australia.
