Vimto announces three new appointments

Soft drinks brand Vimto has announced plans to develop its out-of-home business by appointing three new controllers.

Andrew Wilson (pictured) will take on the role of field sales controller, Derek Lee has been named as HORECA controller and Tim Nunnerley as sales controller.

Wilson joins the team from Charles Wells Brewery, Lee comes from a role with Coca Cola Enterprises and Nunnerley from Global Brands.

The new staff will join commercial controller James Nichols to strengthen the out-of-home market and improve the level of customer service provided.

Nick Yates, sales and operations director, Vimto, out-of-home said: "We have ambitious growth plans over the next few years. There's a massive opportunity in the out-of-home soft drinks category as the number of eating out occasions continue to rise. As a true one-stop-shop for soft drinks solutions, we're already in a fantastic position to help customers take full advantage. And now with increased resource we can be even more proactive when servicing clients."

Vimto out-of-home offers a range of post-mix soft drinks from brands such as Coke, Irn Bru and Ocean Spray, as well as from its packaged and frozen soft drinks lines.
