Carringtons Catering serves one million people during 2016
Carringtons Catering has described 2016 as a ‘monumental year' for the business, having catered for one million people including the Queen during the last 12 months.
The North West company, which has been operating for more than 35 years, catered for a range of events during the year such as MP lunches, corporate galas, awards and private dinners.
In September, Carringtons Catering extended its venue portfolio after becoming a preferred caterer at the Grade I-listed stately home Bodrhyddan Hall in North Wales.
Helen Wynn (pictured, with Darren Wynn), director of Carringtons Catering, said: "2016 has certainly been a significant year for the team and I, as not only have we furthered the scope and distinction of our events, the team as a collective is stronger and more diverse than ever before. It is because of their combined hard work and genuine passion in what they do, not to mention having our very own Master Chef of Great Britain in the form of my husband Darren, that we are able to deliver an innovative culinary excellence with a first-class service."
She added: "Catering for Her Majesty the Queen during a formal reception lunch at Liverpool Town Hall this summer has got to be one of our most memorable and proud moments to date. Other highlights this year include playing host to a record number of events at the magnificent St George's Hall, maintaining our stance as a wedding specialist by creating bespoke catering in venues such as Sefton Park Palm House and Meols Hall Tithe Barn and striking up new long-standing affiliations with local businesses and venues including the stunning Bodrhyddan Hall in North Wales."
