Neil Rankin sparks rumours of second site

Neil Rankin, owner of BBQ-meat restaurant Temper in London's Soho, has revealed plans for a second restaurant.

Speculation arose last night (11 January) when Rankin posted an image on Instagram, where he operates under the name @frontlinechef.

The image, captioned "here we go again", showed four pages of restaurant plans and the words "Temper Ange (sic)" which followers thought gave a good indication that the next restaurant would be pitching up in Angel, London.

When approached by The Caterer, Rankin said it was too early to divulge plans, but did say that the restaurant would be "very far from a cookie cutter job".

Temper opened in November 2016 on Broadwick Street, Soho. It's famed for serving specialist breeds such as beer-fed Dexter beef and Berkshire pork.
