Whatley Manor joins Pride of Britain

Whatley Manor Hotel and Spa near Malmesbury in Wiltshire has become the latest Relais & Châteaux hotel to join the Pride of Britain Hotels consortium of luxury, independently-owned UK hotels.

The five-red-AA star, 23-bedroom hotel is headed by Sue Williams, who left Cliveden House in Taplow, Berkshire, last summer to take up the role of general manager at the hotel, and recently appointed Niall Keating as executive chef of its two restaurants: the Dining Room and Grey's Brasserie.

Set within 12 acres of gardens, Whatley Manor is owned by Swiss equestrian rider Christian Landolt and his mother Alix.
