What was your first job?

Washing up in a local pub

What was your first job in catering?

Kitchen porter and salad tosser

What do you do to relax?

I'm afraid my 14-month-old daughter doesn't let me!

What is your favourite drink?

Bottle of Tiger or a whisky sour or both

What is your favourite food?

Black-pepper crab with brioche dumplings

Which ingredient do you hate the most?

Tinned tuna

What flavour combinations do you detest?

None really, but I do hate food that's underseasoned

Anthony Demetre

I've had time off, but my last holiday was before my daughter was born

Staff giving poor excuses when they disappear in the middle of the night

Lord of the Rings. I read it when I was a kid and it took me nearly a year
