Carlsberg launches craft brewer competition
Carlsberg is seeking entries from craft brewers and importers for its new YOUR BEER, here? competition until 3 March.
The winning beer will be listed in the Crafted 2017 range and made available to stock in thousands of pubs, bars and restaurants through Carlsberg UK for the year.
Entries will be judged on taste profiles and packaging.
A shortlist of beers will be reviewed by a judging panel including: beer writer, Pete Brown; former journalist and hospitality industry expert Mark Stretton; and two members of the Crafted portfolio team from Carlsberg UK.
Adrian Rigby, marketing manager for Crafted at Carlsberg UK said: "The craft beer category is brilliant, diverse and innovative, but above all, it's competitive and the route to market can be challenging.
"As a brewer, we are committed to building the craft beer category and community in the on-trade and believe that through this opportunity and the established profile of our award-winning Crafted handbook, that we can give an up-and-coming craft star a helping hand."
