Bistrot Pierre to open four new sites

French restaurant group Bistrot Pierre is to open four new sites in the West Midlands and North of England.

Openings in Kidderminster, Lichfield, Southport and Middlesbrough will represent a £3.7m investment for the business, creating 200 jobs.

Bistrot Pierre restaurants in Kidderminster and Middlesbrough will open this summer, while Southport will be at the end of 2017 and Lichfield in 2019.

The new openings will take the group to 21 sites, after restaurant in Altrincham, Weston-super-Mare, Birmingham and Newport were opened in the past 18 months.

The raft of new openings follow the £9.8m investment made by Livingbridge in 2015 to accelerate the roll out of the group.

Bistrot Pierre co-owner Rob Beacham said: "We chose the new sites due to the potential they offer in terms of location, footfall and being part of significant retail and leisure initiatives within each town.

"We are delighted to be investing in the already thriving food and drink scenes in these regions, which will not only regenerate the areas, but also encourage more people to shop and eat there - thereby improving the local economies and infrastructures.

"The success of our recently-opened restaurants is a good indicator of the loyal customer base Bistrot Pierre has established in each area, and a reflection of how the group's reputation, brand and popularity is growing within the food and drink sector."
