Green & Fortune launches Sea Containers Events
Hospitality company Green & Fortune has launched a series of private dining and events spaces on London's South Bank in the Sea Containers building.
Sea Containers Events offers six spaces spread over the 12th and 13th floors with a total of 25,000 sq ft floor space. The spaces, each with floor-to-ceiling windows, are capable of hosting numbers from 10 to 120 for dinners, cocktail receptions for 250, or an amphitheatre for presentations up to 200, and exclusive hire is available on application for larger hospitality events.
The Wren is a private dining room with its own private balcony overlooking St Paul's Cathedral, and an open roof terrace which can hold up to 150 guests. The 12th floor includes a large blank canvas space and a balcony overlooking the Thames, and can also be divided into four smaller spaces for greater flexibility.
The food and drink offering emphasises British seasonality and provenance, with sourcing from independent suppliers, including selected meat cuts from Green & Fortune's own farm in Northumberland. Other creative options include ‘live cooking' and seafood stations with chefs front and centre to encourage guest interaction.
An on-site baker creates afternoon cakes, biscuits and other sweet treats that can also be taken away by guests. Cocktails, too, can be designed on a bespoke basis by the in-house mixologist, depending on the event, and there is an international wine list available.
Enquiries are now being taken for events at the venue.
Green & Fortune's portfolio of retail and event spaces also includes Kings Place Events, the Rotunda Bar & Restaurant, and the Green & Fortune Café in King's Cross.
