HOSPACE conference to move to Royal Lancaster London

Hospitality conference and exhibition HOSPACE is moving to the Royal Lancaster London hotel after nine years at the Sofitel, London Heathrow at Terminal 5.

HOSPACE 2017, together with its gala Hospitality Professionals of the Year Awards dinner, will be held on 2 November following the September completion of the hotel's £80m renovation and the reinstatement of its original name.

The event is organised by HOSPA, the educational organisation for hospitality professionals involved in financial management, revenue management, marketing and IT.

Jane Pendlebury, chief executive of HOSPA, said: "The five-star Sofitel at London's Heathrow has worked extremely well for us over the years and we are extremely grateful to them for all their first-rate support and excellent hospitality. However, following the year-on-year growth in popularity of HOSPACE and feedback from our regular delegates and sponsors, the HOSPA team believed it was time for a change to an easily accessible, top quality central London meetings venue."

Sally Beck, general manager of the Royal Lancaster London, added: "We are delighted to be welcoming HOSPACE to our stunning, newly renovated hotel."
