Great producers and great food at Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2017

The organisers of the Speciality & Fine Food Fair have unveiled fresh new plans to this year's show "to re-capture the intimate Aladdin's Cave feel of its formative years, and to re-energise the offering".

Launched in 2000, organisers Fresh Montgomery said the show will be going back to its roots, but will continue to celebrate the passion for the food and drink industry's most diverse and dynamic sector.

Key changes include: a reduction of the size of the fair and curated exhibitors, with only the best artisan and premium producers able to exhibit. A new Discovery Zone for the latest products on the market, the merger of the Speciality Chocolate Fair into the main show with new tasting trails and enhanced visitor attractions and content.

Soraya Gadelrab, exhibition director, commented: "Recent exhibitor and visitor feedback has inspired us to take a step back and take a new look at the show. Producers and buyers flock to Speciality & Fine Food Fair not just to do business, but to soak up its wonderful, vibrant atmosphere. It was important to us to retain all of those things that make it unique - whilst injecting a fresh energy to it. So in 2017, we have made a number of exciting changes with the aim to reinforce the specialist nature of the show, and enhance audience relevance and engagement."
