Gino D'Acampo to open restaurant in Camden Town

Italian chef Gino D'Acampo, has announced the opening of Gino D'Acampo My Restaurant in Camden Town in July.

The 150-cover venue, which be open for all-day dining, seven days a week, is the fourth from D'Acampo.

It will include an open kitchen, deli bar, Prosecco bar, alfresco dining and private dining space with its own bar.

Dishes on the menu will include D'Acampo's favourites from his books and television programmes, and use ingredients sourced from Italy.

The bar will stock over 40 types of Prosecco, sparkling and regional wines, alongside classic cocktails, Italian beers and Neapolitan coffee.

D'Acampo said: "I can't wait to open My Restaurant right in the heart of trendy Camden. Twenty years ago I worked as head chef at Pane Vino, in nearby Kentish Town, so it feels like I'm coming home.

"When I am back home in Italy I love visiting cool bars for aperitivo - an Italian tradition for a pre-dinner drink with friends. I love it. At My Prosecco Bar it's aperitivo time 4pm to 6.30pm everyday when my guests can drink, relax and also enjoy some wonderful cicchetti on me! Salute!

The first Gino D'Acampo My Restaurant opened in Corn Exchange, Manchester in December 2015. The second opened in Euston Station, London in February 2016 and the third launched in Leeds just before Christmas last year.
