The tapas restaurant offers cuisine that combines Spanish and local Welsh produce and it specialises in asador-style cooking, where meat, fish and vegetables are cooked over charcoal and wood-fired barbecues.
The restaurant also has a ‘cheese cave', a walk-in wine room with a predominantly Spanish wine list and one Welsh sparkling wine, and dry-ageing meat cabinets.
Bar 44 has branches in Cardiff, Penarth and Cowbridge, serving modern Spanish food and drink, specialising in tapas and sherry.
