The 2017 Product Excellence Awards are open for entries, with new categories and more opportunities to showcase the best food, drink and equipment available on the market.
Open to manufacturers, producers and suppliers of food, drink or equipment, the awards are judged by a panel of industry experts, with successful products receiving exposure to an extensive audience of potential customers.
Foodservice operators continue to seek products that offer a point of difference to their customers or equipment that saves them time or money, and The Caterer’s Product Excellence Awards provide this stage.
Lisa Jenkins, products and suppliers editor of The Caterer, said: “The Product Excellence Awards give us the opportunity to recognise the research and development, the investment and sheer determination that is involved in the creation and launch of thousands of products introduced into hospitality every year.
“Taste, creativity, innovation, convenience, flavour, speed, sustainability, style and energy-saving credentials were recognised in the 2016 roll call of winners, with a host of companies recognised, including The Bay Tree, Pan Artisan, Country Choice, Bidfood, Booker, Brakes and Henny Penny.”
The 2017 awards evening celebrating shortlisted and winning businesses will be held in London on 5 December. The event provides an opportunity for the suppliers and manufacturers behind the shortlisted products to get together and celebrate their success.
