Alan Quinlan reappointed Aramark health and wellness ambassador

Food, facilities management and property services company Aramark has reappointed Alan Quinlan as health and wellness ambassador.

In the role, Quinlan will promote positive mental health and the importance of good nutrition and healthy eating in workplaces in Ireland.

Quinlan said: "I'm delighted to be continuing in my role as health & wellness ambassador with Aramark and to continue the great work we have been doing together to encourage people to take charge of their health.

"Our physical health affects our mental health and how we cope with the stresses and strains of everyday life. The mind-body connection is real, yet most people still take it for granted. Having spent many years as a professional rugby player with both Munster and the Irish squad, I believe that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind and taking care of your health helps keep you in good shape both physically and mentally".

Frank Gleeson, managing director of Aramark Food Services, said: "We are thrilled that Alan has agreed to continue in his current role as Aramark's health & wellness ambassador. His energetic and relentless approach to his work around mental health awareness makes him the perfect ambassador and we are confident that together we can help make a genuine, positive change in people's lives.

"Health and wellness is a top priority for Aramark and we are committed to building on our promise to get our workforce healthy. We understand that a healthy workforce is a happier and more productive one, and our aim is to support them in this goal. Alan will work alongside two-time Olympian Natalya Coyle in spreading the word about the programmes, services and resources we have developed to promote wellbeing."
