Leon signs deal with Roadchef to open motorway restaurants

Healthy fast food chain Leon has signed a franchise deal with Roadchef to open the first roadside restaurant this summer, with more in the pipeline to open over the next five years.

Motorway Service Area operator Roadchef has chosen to Norton Canes on the M6 and Strensham South in the M5 to be the first to house Leon restaurants.

Roadchef guests will be able to purchase popular dishes such as the Moroccan Meatball Hotbox, Fish Finger Wrap and the Original Super Salad.

Simon Turl, CEO of Roadchef said: "We strive to offer our customers a range of different food options to refuel while travelling that will refresh, revive and reinvigorate them so they can continue on their journeys safely.

"We scoured the market for a brand that would complement our existing offering and Leon, with its impressive naturally fast food credentials, stood out. We are thrilled that Leon have chosen Roadchef as the partner to introduce their brand to the motorway network, our two companies share a people focused culture and we are confident that our customers will be impressed with what Leon have to offer."
