Tender opportunity: Ashtead Park Garden Centre
Ashtead Park Garden Centre invites expressions of interest for the provision of Hospitality & Catering Services for The Olive Tree.
The site of Ashtead Park Garden Centre has been in the family since the 1960s when it was still a plant nursery. The current garden centre has grown and flourished, going through several expansions including the addition of The Olive Tree in 2008. This is now a thriving venue and has recently been extended and refurbished again. We like to retain the family feel though, and source plants, gardening items and giftware on a very personal level so you will find some lovely things that you won't see everywhere else.
During the summer of 2015 the catering operation at Ashtead Park Garden Centre underwent a large investment from its owners, with a state of the art kitchen and restaurant facility. The new operation is currently counter service style moving to full table service, with fresh home cooked foods, local produce and an in-house pizza area.
Our client is seeking expressions of interest from skilled and experienced hospitality and catering service providers. The catering provision is currently in house and so there is no incumbent caterer. The expected contract start date will be November 2017.
The successful contractor must provide a high quality daily catering service to the visitors of Ashtead Park. To be considered, contractors will need to demonstrate clearly that they have the necessary financial acumen, technical skills and experience of operating successfully within a demanding hospitality and catering environment. All contractors wishing to express an interest will need to contact Radford Chancellor LTD for the Tender Documents. Due to the tight timeline for this tender all companies expressing an interest will be invited to submit a tender response but will be require to complete a short questionnaire as part of the bid.
The contract is expected to commence November 2017 and will be for a period of 3 years with a review after the first 2 years, This contract procurement will be advertised on a number of portals / media platforms and does not fall into the procurement regulations for Public Contracts Regulations.
