BAR AND CATERING MANAGEMENT FRANCHISE
Established as a Trust in 1907 the Walker Cricket Ground comprises a 14 acre sports and recreation facility with a membership of over 900 and an annual footfall of over 146 thousand ,situated in the heart of Southgate adjacent to The Green and being well connected to Central London.
We are currently inviting applications for the Catering and Bar Management Franchise based within the club pavilion.The turnover is in excess of £250,000.This may suit an individual couple or partnership but companies will also be considered.
This business opportunity requires a minimal amount of capital outlay and could bring great reward to individuals willing to work hard, with an element of added creativity to harness the commercial potential that exists. The Club has three cricket pitches, four tennis courts, six squash courts and hosts football, rugby, hockey, lacrosse, and athletic events. The Pavilion has a bar, kitchen and function room.
The priority is for our club members, guests and visitors as we have a full fixture list every year. We also have a growing social membership and are keen to expand income from third party functions.
Quiz nights, barbeques and fish suppers prove popular and the club is increasingly playing host to numerous private bookings such as birthday parties, christenings, corporate functions and other milestone special occasions.
Applicants should hold a personal license and possess the enthusiasm and desire to be successful complemented by a depth of experience in providing excellent customer service and catering skills.
Potential candidates will be keen to work with the Trust and introduce fresh initiatives to improve the pavilion and its facilities.
After shortlisting, the selection process could involve some practical elements and we would expect a business plan to be presented.
