Pieminister plans 17 more restaurants by 2020
Pieminister, which produces a range of pies and snacks and also runs 13 restaurants, aims to launch another 17 sites before the end of this decade.
The news came as the firm unveiled its 13th restaurant, this time in Birmingham.
Following Pieminister's first opening in the West Midlands, the company is now looking for another six outlets before the end of 2018, with the aim of expanding to 30 by 2020.
In addition to a range of pies and sides (including mash, gravy and mushy peas), as well as snacks, the new venue will serve craft beers, ciders and cocktails.
Pieminister also supplies around 80 pubs a week around the UK with its pies, as well as a number of major supermarkets.
The 1,300 sq ft site in Waterloo Street in Birmingham is located close to shops between New Street and a number of local offices.
Chartered surveyor Williams Gunter Hardwick is looking for sites in other locations on Pieminister's behalf, including Bath, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool and Sheffield, as well as more locations in London such as Brixton, Clapham, Earls Court and Tooting, together with second units in Leeds and Manchester.
Pieminister was founded in 2003 in Bristol by Jon Simon and Tristan Hogg.
