Glendola Leisure buys Handmade Pubs

Glendola Leisure has added two more London pubs to its estate, with the acquisition of Handmade Pubs for an undisclosed sum.

The company will take over the Fox on Paul Street in Shoreditch and the Lansdowne in Primrose Hill following the deal.

Alex Salussolia, managing director at Glendola Leisure, said: "Great London pubs endure and fit perfectly into our aspirations to run long term generational businesses."

Handmade Pubs was founded in 2010 and owned by Bob Taylor.

Glendola Leisure was founded in 1973 by Peter Salussolia and operates a number of London venues including Waxy O'Connor's in Piccadilly, World's End pub and Underworld in Camden, and Silk & Grain in the City, as well as venues in Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh, and along the south coast of England.
