Greggs' CEO Roger Whiteside to headline Arena Christmas Event

Greggs chief executive Roger Whiteside will conclude this year's calendar of events as headline speaker at the Arena Christmas Event.

In front of hospitality and foodservice colleagues on 4 December at the Landmark London hotel, he will give an insight into the changes and challenges that have paved Greggs' way; the strategy in place to grow the business to over 2,000 shops and become the customer's favourite for food on the go; supply chain ownership; and how it stays ahead of the cross-sector competition. He will also share his opinion and experience on the hot industry topics of the day.

Managing director of hospitality consultancy Horizons Peter Backman will also return to give his seasonal insights.

Lorraine Wood, Arena's director, said: "We've all seen how Greggs' presence on the high street has gone from strength to strength and his address is sure to be interesting and thought provoking."

Attendees will also enjoy a drinks reception and three-course lunch with wine.

Tickets cost £159+VAT for Arena members and £199+VAT for non-members. Tables of 10 cost £1431+VAT for Arena members and £1791+VAT for non-members.
