Swan London’s private catering arm, Swan About, has bought the assets of rival London Kitchen, which is in administration.
The deal, for an undisclosed sum, allows Swan About to extend its production capabilities.
Having bought the facilities, goodwill and employed its core staff, Swan London will invest more than £500,000 in the business to grow the capabilities of its event service, offering everything from niche events to large-scale private catering and productions.

Swan London has been running the events business at the Swan at the Globe in London since 2007, alongside its restaurant, bar and theatre cafés, growing it from a £500,000 to a £4m turnover operatin and hosting over 450 events per year.
Following an extensive refurbishment in February 2016 and the appointment of Allan Pickett as executive chef earlier this year, the event team at the Swan at the Globe won corporate Christmas event venue of the year at the 2017 London Venue Awards this week.
