La Tagliata Italian Kitchen opens sister site

Carlo Palumbo and Lorenzo Boldi have opened their second Fitzrovia-based restaurant, La Tagliata Wine Bar on Whitfield Street, London.

The 25-cover site is located next door to La Tagliata Italian Kitchen which opened last month. The original La Tagliata Italian Kitchen in Spitalfields opened in 2014.

Other dishes include arrosticini (grilled lamb skewers served with toasted bread, olive oil, and spicy garlic and roasted pepper sauce)

The black marble bar is accompanied by mirror glaze tiles and blue leather stools. The rest of the bar area has white leather banquette seats.

Over 50 wines are on offer alongside cocktails including White Negroni, (Bergamotto, VII White Hills Italian dry gin and Vermouth Bianco del Professore), Gypsy Soul (Rinomato Aperitivo and Viscionata orange liqueur, topped with Prosecco) and Chinotto Sour, a take on the whisky sour.

Downstairs in the basement is a 45-cover dining room available for private bookings.
