Tom Sellers plans third restaurant, 13, aimed at London's youth

Tom Sellers is planning to open a third restaurant, this time aimed at the youth of London.

Sellers, who holds a Michelin star at Restaurant Story in south London and also runs the Lickfold Inn in Petworth, West Sussex, made the revelation in an interview with Nick Curtis in the Evening Standard.

He offered few details, but said it would be called 13. "It will be 100% mine, and it will be in London. All I can tell you is it will be called 13 and it will be aimed towards the youth of London, and not just in food; in art, in culture, in music."

It is expected to be cheaper than Story, where dinner costs £120 without wine.

Sellers has the numbers one and three tattooed on his fingers and explained to Curtis that his mother was born on the first day of the month and his father on the third.

Since opening Story in April 2013, the Nottingham-born chef and Tom Aikens protégé has gradually expanded his business interests. In December 2014, he opened the privately backed Lickfold Inn in Petworth, West Sussex, and 17 months after that, Restaurant Ours, with Sellers cast as its culinary director, although his contract there has since come to an end.

Awards have been steady, too. Five months after Story launched Sellers was awarded a Michelin star, and just four months ago he was presented with the *AA Restaurant Guide*Food & Travel, broken into the Good Food Guide's top 50 restaurants, and been featured in Forbes magazine's 30 under 30.
