Vanier gluten-free desserts

Thomas Ridley Foodservice has six new gluten-free desserts created by Vanier Desserts and exclusive to the Country Range Group, including a Chocolate Coronet Pavlova, an Iced Lemon Meringue, a Mango and Passion Fruit Cheesecake and a Raspberry Pavlova.

Meredith & Drew biscuits

Biscuit manufacturer Meredith & Drew was founded by William Meredith and William George Drew in Shadwell, London, in 1830, and by 1946 it was advertising itself as “Britain’s biggest biscuit bakers”. Now the brand has been brought back to life by Bidfood, with four biscuit varieties: Marvellous Milk Choc Chip Cookie, Wonderful White Choc Chip Cookie, Scrumptious Shortie Swirl, and Irresistible Oat Crunch.

Nisbets’ Polar Cold Rooms

The new Polar Cold Rooms range from Nisbets is suitable for both indoor and outdoor operation in ambient temperatures of up to 43°C. The units are made up of 80mm-thick panels that can be built into various configurations, with a slow-close door to prevent slamming.

Pidy gluten-free tartelettes

Pidy has launched a 4cm gluten-free neutral tartelette, featuring thin pastry and straight sides.

Pantheon’s TM5 mixer

Pantheon’s TM5 is a compact, five-litre stand mixer with three aluminium attachments: a whisk for liquid ingredients; a beater for creaming butter and sugar or making batters; and a dough hook.

Williams’ Chef’s Drawer

The Chef’s Drawer from Williams is a stackable refrigerated drawer unit with R290 refrigerant, available as either a fridge or a freezer. The Chef’s Drawer accepts 2/1 GN pans, up to 150mm deep, and offers a capacity of up to 94 litres. The fridge version can be adjusted between 1°C and 4°C, while the freezer offers a temperature range of -18°C to -21°C.

Brindisa frozen churros

Brindisa’s frozen churros come in foodservice trays containing 12 pieces. The precooked churros can be heated in the oven in just four minutes and are best served sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon, or with crushed nuts.
