All the restaurant and hotel openings from this week's issue.

Forest Hut at the Pig

Bert & May Spaces has created the bespoke 'box' using an environmentally friendly building design. Judy Hutson, wife of Robin Hutson, the chief executive of the Pig's parent company, Home Grown Hotels, and designer of the hotel group's interiors, has created the Forest Hut's "timeless" interiors with "rustic charm".

The Forest Hut is a short walk from the hotel's garden cottages, located among the trees in a woodland clearing.

The hut's master bedroom looks onto the Pig's garden and its own decked area. The bedroom features a floor made of reclaimed timber plus double-glazed aluminium doors and floor-to-ceiling windows, wood-panelled walls, checked-pattern bed throw and retro lighting. The en suite bathroom has its a freestanding bath.

Guests can enjoy the spa facilities in the hotel's potting shed and shepherd's hut.
