Casual Dining Group to launch delivery brand

Stack and Grill, which will launch next month, will have a small menu available for deliveries including sourdough croques, burgers and beers.

The food will be prepared in 40 Café Rouge kitchens nationwide and delivered throughout the UK by delivery partners such as Deliveroo and UberEats.

If successful, the delivery brand will replace the current service offered by Café Rouge, as the Casual Dining Group felt some of the dishes on the Café Rouge menus "don't travel well" and aim to give consumers a better experience by offering specific dishes of a high quality.

James Spragg, chief operating officer of the Casual Dining Group said: "The great thing about delivery is if you have an amazingly busy night you can turn the tablet off and not accept any more orders as the customers in store are the main focus."
