Greyhound hotel in Leigh on market for nearly £3m

The 74-bedroom Greyhound hotel and restaurant in Leigh, Lancashire, has been put up for sale for £2.95m by Here For You Hospitality.

Located on the A580 between Manchester and Liverpool, the property operates under the Sporting Lodge Inns Brand alongside a sister hotel in Middlesborough.

The Greyhound, which achieved an annual turnover of £1.48m in 2017, features a gym, sauna, swimming pool and meeting rooms. It was previously owned and operated by Jarvis Hotels.

Julian Troup, head of Colliers International, which is marketing the hotel, described the location of the hotel as "outstanding".

"It presents an excellent opportunity to a corporate or private buyer seeking a large commercial hotel in a very busy trading location."
