We take a look at the brightest new products at this year’s Hotelympia show
Hoshizaki UK will be unveiling a range of new undercounter refrigerators at the Professional Kitchen Show at Hotelympia 2018, including the latest in Hydrocarbon ice makers and Snowflake Gen II Drawer units, which come in a host of different sizes and configurations.
Hubbard will launch Scotsman’s EcoX range of ice machines. EcoX ice makers have less impact on the environment and lower running costs. All models use either hydrocarbon R290 or carbon dioxide R744 refrigerants and are fully compliant with the F gas regulations. Models can make a variety of ice types, including gourmet cubes, dice ice, cubelet ice and flake ice.
Adande Refrigeration will launch its Aircell Sarma open-front grab-and-go cabinet, which it says significantly reduces cold air spillage. The 1,250mm cabinet has four shelves and a base, providing a large display area.
Sous Vide Tools
The Sous Vide Tools team will be cooking up a storm on the Grande Cuisine stand. Chef-director Chris Holland will take centre stage, preparing and cooking a wide range of sous vide dishes on a range of equipment, such as the brand new iVide Cooker and a Platinum Circulator.
The Teapy T41 offers an alternative to the traditional seven-piece tea service (teapot, lid, cup, saucer, teaspoon, milk jug and tray). It has only four pieces (mug, teaspoon, milk jug and Teapy), which can be stacked together, allowing it to be easily carried in one hand.
Moretti Forni Neapolis
The hottest new item on the Pizza Equipment stand will be the Moretti Forni Neapolis, an electric deck oven for pizzas that reaches a temperature of 510°C. With a constant cooking temperature of 485°C, this oven is ideal for producing the perfect Neapolitan pizza. The Neapolis oven can comfortably hold six 12in pizzas.
