Revere Pub Company to open fifth Lost & Found bar

Revere Pub Company, the premium arm of pub giant Marston's, is set to open a fifth Lost & Found bar, this time in Bristol.

The new Victorian-inspired venue will launch in the city on 20 April in what used to be Italian restaurant Bottelinos.

Revere already operates Lost & Found sites in Birmingham, two in Leeds, and one in Knutsford in Cheshire.

The 207-cover Bristol venue will offer a bar, restaurant, private boardroom and underground "hidden" bar.

Drinks at each bar is led by a fictional "professor", whose adventures inspire the drinks on offer.

In the case of the Bristol venue, the professor in question is Elizabeth E Lightfoot, an academic who studied physics and astronomy at the College of Bristol. The Elizabeth E Lightfoot signature cocktail is a blend of Gosling's black rum with yellow chartreuse and Briottet crème de mure, topped with cranberry and lemon juices, hickory smoke and edible glitter.

Typical dishes include Josper-grilled steaks, truffle and Parmesan arancini, and slow-cooked beef ragù pappardelle.
