New head chefs announced for Corbin & King's Bellanger and Colbert
Corbin & King has appointed new head chefs at its Islington brasserie Bellanger and Chelsea bistro Colbert.
Dalmaine Blignaut took up his new role at Bellanger (pictured) after joining the business last November as senior sous chef at the Delaunay. Prior to that he was the head pastry chef at Aqua Shard.
Originally from South Africa, Blignaut has worked at London's Landmark hotel and spent three years as head pastry chef at the Reform Club. After relocating to Australia and then back to South Africa, he returned to the Reform Club in 2015 as chef tournant.
Adam Middleton has been named head chef of Colbert after almost two years with Corbin & King. He joined Brasserie Zedel in July 2016 and was promoted to executive sous chef within 18 months.
Despite studying criminology and IT at university, Middleton entered the world of hospitality when he worked at Glowbal in Vancouver.
Following his return to the UK he held a number of senior positions, including senior chef de partie at Bord'eaux and Caprice Holdings, sous chef at Bocca Di Lupo, and head chef at Le Coq.
