Rob Roy Cameron and Tony Conigliaro to open Mayfair site in July

Chef Rob Roy Cameron and drinks specialist Tony Conigliaro will open their third collaborative venture in Mayfair on 9 July.

The pair have described Gazelle as a "stylish dining and cocktail destination" with menus planned to "break down the barrier between bar and restaurant".

The site sits across two storeys, with a 48-cover restaurant on the first floor and a cocktail bar on the second floor.,

Conigliaro said: "I love Mayfair and wanted to offer something that would sit comfortably alongside what's already on offer here. When we were given the opportunity to take over both floors, I really wanted to install the lift and give out guests that feeling of a private members' club away from street level, without it actually being one. I'm so happy we managed to fit one in!"

Cameron and Conigliaro have previously worked together at Untitled, Hackney, and Bar Termini, Soho.

Conigliaro and his team at the Drinks Factory have created an offering with a focus on Champagnes. Cocktails will include six of his signature drinks such as the Red Amber and the Coral Fizz, six bespoke Gazelle variations on classics and six Champagne cocktails. A selection of cold-brewed teas, natural juices and non-alcoholic drinks will also be on offer.

Cameron, who opened 41 Degrees in Barcelona as head chef before moving on to Hoja Santa where he won a Michelin star, has created a modern European menu including a mixture of sharing plates and snacks. Dishes include halibut and elderflower as well as monkfish and burnt seeds.

Cameron explained, "We've broken away from the two or three courses or tasting menu formats and just left it open for everyone to choose themselves. We want to create a space where guests can enjoy a unique dining and drinking experience with a kitchen that is not limited by genre."

Interior designer Shaun Clarkson has created a decor reflecting a love of bold colour and texture.
