Allergens campaign set to raise awareness of eliminating allergens

Allergen Accreditation have launched the #onemcpeakechallenge for chefs and caterers to better understand the struggles diners have with eliminating allergens from their diets.

The challenge has been set up by senior allergen advisor, Jacqui McPeake and Julian Edwards CEO of Allergen Accreditation, to support the Anaphylaxis campaign charity.

The challenge will enable volunteers to understand the daily issues that someone with allergies faces, which include going shopping and checking labels for allergens, cooking at home with the family and going out to eat and drink in restaurants.

Individuals can sign up or companies can sponsor the campaign with registration available via the Anaphylaxis Campaign 'MyDonate" page.
