Preet Tandi appointed culinary development director of Mastcraft Hotels

Preet Tandi has been appointed culinary development director of Mastcraft Hotels, tasked with developing new fine and casual dining concepts for the group's property portfolio.

Tandi's first addition, an Indian street-food concept, will be launched at the Courthouse Hotel in Soho at the end of this year.

He will also coordinate chefs across the portfolio and develop existing offerings.

Tandi was previously executive development chef at Edwardian Hotels London joining in 2016 and departing earlier this year to seek new challenges.

Before joining Edwardian he had been an executive head chef at Madhu's Heathrow and a senior chef de partie at Nobu London.

Mastcraft Hotels portfolio comprises five hotels, two Courthouse hotels in Soho and Shoreditch, The Washington in Mayfair, The Bentley in Kensington and Heston Hyde in Hounslow.
