The Winner Takes It All! Rhubarb scores Mamma Mia! The Party contract

Contract caterer Rhubarb has been appointed the official caterer for the much-anticipated immersive theatre and dining experience Mamma Mia! The Party.

The venue is set to open at the O2 London on 29 August 2019, with more than 500 covers across eight performances a week.

Diners will be seated in the set of a taverna on the island of Skopelos, complete with fountain, olive trees and bougainvillea. They will dine while the story is told around them through dialogue and the music of ABBA.

Rhubarb has worked with the production team to devise a three-course Greek feast featuring mezze dips; traditional Greek salad; spanakopita; charred octopus and lamb kleftiko.

PB Jacobse, CEO of Rhubarb said: "We are elated to be partnering with Mamma Mia! The Party for this extraordinary immersive venture that combines music, romance and dancing with gourmet food, reflecting the show's Greek roots. It is an honour to be working with one of the world's biggest music legends and his production team. We will help ensure guests have an unforgettable evening from start to finish."
