South Kensington Club appoints new general manager

Ben Swindells has been appointed as the new general manager of the South Kensington Club.

Swindells has been enlisted to help the site maintain its foothold in the luxury market while enhancing its future development. His previous work in the sector includes Ministry of Sound's the Ministry, which doubles as a co-working space.

His prior work in hotels includes director of operations at the Hoxton hotel in Shoreditch and general manager at Harbour Hotels group. He also launched Intercontinental's flagship hotel at London's Olympic Park, which opened ahead of the games.

Swindells said: "Having worked with a vast range of hospitality groups in and around London, I am excited to now join South Kensington Club and help revitalise its events, partnerships and opportunities to ensure members thoroughly enjoy their experience at the club."
